Intertek Group ("Intertek") recently issued the world's first TCO Certified, generation 9 certificate to the server product developed by Beijing Lenovo ("Lenovo") to help its products compete in the server market.

The certification ceremony was held at Lenovo headquarters in Beijing. Sam Lee, Senior Manager of Lenovo Server Product Compliance, Cao Ziqian, Head of Compliance Department of Environmental Affairs and his team, Shu Jiande, ICT Technology Manager of Intertek Electrical, and Lenovo service team attended the ceremony.

TCO Certified is the world-leading sustainability certification for IT products. Its criteria are designed to reduce environmental impact and enhance the protection of workers' and users' rights and interests. The TCO Certified, generation 9 certificate marks that the safety, performance and environmental protection of the server product have met the criteria requirements of TCO Certified, generation 9, which practices sustainability management throughout the life cycle and highlights the excellent social responsibility competitiveness of the product.
