THE RECALL CASES OF TEXTILE, FOOTWEAR AND ACCESSORIES PRODUCTS IN JANUARY 2025
IN JANUARY 2025, THERE WERE TOTAL 36 RECALL CASES OF TEXTILE, FOOTWEAR AND ACCESSORIES PRODUCTS FROM THE US, CANADIAN, EU AND AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. 20 OF THEM CAME FROM CHINA.
There are 11 physical recall cases from the EU market, including 6 cases on injuries, 1 case on strangulation, 2 cases on strangulation or injuries, and 2 cases on choking.
There are 18 chemical recall cases from the EU market, all cases are against the REACH regulation. Of these, there is 1 case violates the Toy Safety Directive, and 2 cases violate the European standards EN 18219-1, EN 18219-2 and EN 14389 as well.
There are 4 physical cases from the US market, including 3 cases on flammability and 1 case on strangulation and entanglement hazards.
There is 1 chemical recall case from the US market.
There is 1 physical recall case from the Canadian market, which is on flammability.
There is no chemical recall case from the Canadian market.
There is 1 physical recall case from the Australian market, which is on serious injury or death from drowning.
There is no chemical recall case from the Australian market.
