THE RECALL CASES OF TEXTILE, FOOTWEAR AND ACCESSORIES PRODUCTS IN FEBRUARY 2025
IN FEBRUARY 2025, THERE WERE TOTAL 39 RECALL CASES OF TEXTILE, FOOTWEAR AND ACCESSORIES PRODUCTS FROM THE US, CANADIAN, EU AND AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. 20 OF THEM CAME FROM CHINA.
There are 8 physical recall cases from the EU market, including 2 cases on injuries, 2 cases on choking. The remaining 4 cases are on choking & injuries, choking & strangulation, burns & fire, and cuts respectively.
There are 15 chemical recall cases from the EU market, including 14 cases are against the REACH regulation and 1 case does not comply with the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP) Regulation.
There are 10 physical cases from the US market, including 4 cases on flammability, 1 case on suffocation risk and fall hazard, 1 case on strangulation hazard, 1 case on fall hazard, and 3 cases on strangulation and entanglement hazards.
There is no chemical recall case from the US market.
There are 2 physical recall cases from the Canadian market, which are on flammability and microbial hazard respectively.
There is no chemical recall case from the Canadian market.
There are 4 physical recall cases from the Australian market, including 1 case on burn injuries, 2 cases on choking, severe internal burn injuries or death, and 1 case on death or serious injury.
There is no chemical recall case from the Australian market.
