Testing Capability Updated for Intertek Vacuum Cleaner ErP Lab
ErP Directive
From September 1st 2017, a series of stricter performance requirements in European regulations No 665 and No 666 will enter into force, not only in higher dust removable capability and lower annual energy consumption, but also including new requirements about dust re-emission, hose durability and motor lifetime. According to the directives, dust re-emission shall be no more than 1.0%, operational motor lifetime shall be not less than 500 hours, and the durability of hoses shall be more than 40000 oscillations under strain.
From that moment, dry vacuum cleaners which don’t meet these requirements shall not be exported into European market.
