On 12 April 2023, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) recommends eight new substances for the European Commission to be included in the Authorisation List (Annex XIV to REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006).
The eight substances recommended to be included in the Authorisation List are as follows:

Note 1: The substance has no uses in the scope of authorisation but is recommended based on grouping considerations as it could potentially replace structurally similar substances that have already been recommended or are included in the Authorisation List. This is to avoid regrettable substitution.
If a substance is included in the Authorisation List, it can only be placed on the market or used after a given date if an authorisation is granted for a specific use. Companies that are using, manufacturing or importing these substances shall apply for authorisation.
