Fabric and other pliable material of a tent shall comply with section 5.2.1 of the standard CAN/CGSB-182.1-2020. If the flooring materials of a tent do not comply with section 5.2.1, they shall comply with section 5.3.1.
A tent shall also meet the labelling requirements of section 6 of CAN/CGSB-182.1-2020.
The requirements for toys intended for child to enter are added in the Toys Regulations. A toy intended to be entered by a child shall meet the requirements of clause 4.4 of ISO 8124-2, but do not need to comply with the warning requirements in ISO 8124-2. The surface of the toy shall have a permanent label containing the following warning:

MISE EN GARDE: TENIR LOIN DES SOURCES DE CHALEUR ET DES FLAMMES NUES |
The font size of the warning statements shall be at least 3 mm, and the size of alert symbol shall be at least 6 mm. The warning and the alert symbol must be affixed on the product. They shall be visible throughout the life of the product.
The current Tents Regulations SOR/2016-185 is repealed. Products that comply with the current Tents Regulations SOR/ 2016-185 are allowed to be manufactured, imported, advertised or sold until 20 November 2026.
