To ensure seamless integration with member states’ platforms—such as SABER in Saudi Arabia, Hazm in Oman, and the Energy Efficiency Platform in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Yemen, The Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO) has introduced a pivotal enhancement designed to streamline G-mark certificate verification process for all stakeholders by unifying the verification page. This upgrade is in line with GSO's strategic plan, it provides consumers and relevant authorities across member states with a dedicated platform for the verification of various certificate types. Now, you can simply scan the QR code on the certificate (no need to log in) to verify the information and effectiveness.
With these updates, the URLs for the verification pages have been updated, resulting in corresponding changes to the QR codes associated with GCTS. Nevertheless, the current QR codes for all economic operators will remain valid and will continue to direct users to the appropriate verification pages,Therefore, there is no immediate need to update product packaging or labeling. Manufacturers may continue using their current stock and transition to the new QR codes once the existing inventory is depleted.
