It is indeed a privilege to be engaging with you all during this happy occasion. 

2024 has been a wonderful year for Intertek. Thanks to the hard work, determination and innovative minds of our 11,000 employees in Greater China – you have worked tirelessly to deliver our 10X performance. Grateful thanks to each and everyone of our employees and that of their families for all the support. It is truly a privilege to be working with the largest and one of the most successful, vibrant teams in the Group.

I am absolutely confident we are going to carry on our momentum from 2024 and WIN BIG in 2025.

China's economy has a rock solid foundation, innumerable advantages, powerful resilience and unbelievable potential. 

According to President Xi in his new year address, China's 2024 GDP is expected to exceed 130 trillion yuan (USD$17.8 trillion), translating to circa 5% growth; and that China would implement more proactive policies to promote growth in 2025.

And as we all know, since September 2024, Chinese authorities unleashed numerous stimulus measures to stabilize the property market, increase investment and boost consumption.

In our industry, we will continue deliver thought leading, innovative services to address the needs of our customers across Greater China, and of course, win new customers with our Total Quality Assurance expertise, delivered consistently with precision, pace and passion.

According to the Chinese zodiac, 2025 ushers in the Year of the Snake. The year is thought to connote the unveiling of something valuable hidden or the start of something new.

We are confident that we will be having a super exciting year ahead as we shall continue unleashing the power and potential of innovation in the ATIC industry.

根据习近平主席在新年致辞中提到的，中国2024年的国内生产总值（GDP）超过130万亿元人民币（约合17.8万亿美元），同比增长约5%， 并且中国将在2025年实施更加积极的政策以促进经济增长。自2024年9月以来，中国已出台多项刺激措施以稳定房地产市场、增加投资并提振消费。

在TIC行业，Intertek将继续提供具有前瞻性和创新性的服务以满足大中华区客户的需求，将以始终如一的专业、精准、快速、热情的全面质量保障服务赢得更大市场。

根据中国的生肖纪年，2025年是蛇年。蛇年寓意着揭开宝藏、或是新事物的开始。随着我们在ATIC行业中持续释放创新潜力，Intertek大中华区的2025将无比精彩，对此我充满信心。
